Bubble Tips vs. Sweet Titles

Bubble Tips vs. Sweet Titles

January 29, 2006 ( 0 )

Mousing over the links here, there’s a nice bit of Javascript allowing developers to elaborate a little on the links, or provide ‘tips’. This example is known as ‘Bubble Tips’.

Dustin Diaz, creator of the excellent ‘Sweet Titles’ is not crazy about the source code or the way the titles follow your cursor. I’d acknowledge Diaz’s example is superior, but in both cases it’s a neat little way to guide users through your links, especially if they’re clicking off to outside sites or to files like PDFs where advanced warning is always appreciated.
