Back in the States, Buried in Email

I just woke up after traveling 36 hours from Cape Town to Jo’burg to Senegal to New York to Washington to Virginia. South Africa was a fascinating place which I’ll post about more extensively in the next while. I got to surf with sharks, play with penguins on the beach, have drinks with Adii, and eat gazelle biltong for breakfast! Actually, that last one is not recommended.

Right now I’m peering through raccoon-eyes at a heap of email from the past two weeks. Thanks for all the feedback on Mimbo Pro so far. Time is going to be tight for the next month, so please understand I will probably not answer all the email I’ve received. Some general responses to other queries:

“When is Mimbo Pro coming out and how much will it cost?”

I can’t answer either yet, though I’d like to say Mimbo Pro will be out in the next 6-8 weeks, hopefully sooner. Please stay tuned.

“When is the next custom Mimbo roundup?”

If you’ve launched a customized Mimbo site in the next month, please post to the appropriate forum thread as I’m a bit behind in my traffic logs. I’ll do another roundup post this month.

“Can you provide an estimate for some custom theming?”

Please see item #1 in the FAQ: “Sorry, I am not available for freelance jobs currently.”

“I need help with Mimbo setup, custom fields, HTML and CSS”

For these kinds of questions, please continue using the forum and pay special attention to the sticky threads. In the past, I’ve received many of these questions via email and have tried to answer them all, but it’s just not realistic for the time being.

Thanks for understanding. This month I’ll return to my Art Director job, work on Mimbo Pro, and help Cvillain relaunch their site. I’m also in the middle of renovating my kitchen. I may have to adopt the polyphasic sleep cycle to make it all happen.
