We had a departmental meeting last month at Category 4 and realized that 1) we all liked Barack Obama, and 2) we wanted to release some free Wordpress themes since we use WP for so many of our smaller projects. The combined result is Probama, the first freebie of what I hope will be many.
The theme is meant for bloggers who want to focus on Obama’s political career and specifically his campaign for president. I handled design and production duties while the talented Matt Dawson implemented some custom control panel functions that let you edit RSS info for YouTube, Feedburner and Flickr.

That’s great. I was telling my fiance last night that if I can’t decide on a candidate to vote for, Barack wins in my book because he’s got a sharp website. Hah, I was joking, but now there’s a WP Theme to match, sweet!

I like the theme, but I must say the slogan made me think of “problema,” aka. problem in spanish (PR slogan nightmare). Ha.

I’m hispanic, and I strongly believe Obama will have a huge support from most of the minorities citizens and with no doubts he will be the first minority to get in the White House as a president of United State. I predict California, Texas, Florida and New York would be the keys for his victory to Mr. Obama in November 2008.

Obama’s speech in Cairo is only the first step in many towards any kind of dialogue with America’s current day enemies. The speech was largely vague and lacking in detail and its effects will only really be seen from the action that follows it both in the US and the Arab world.

Is it possible to add the sidebar on the homepage, on pages too? Pages seem bare without it, and was curious if this was possible…
