A jailed con man duped the media last month by providing false FBI documents implying Puff Daddy and associates were complicit in Tupac Shakur’s murder. The LA Times now has egg on its face for sloppy fact-checking — they could have just enlisted Hoefler & Frere-Jones to analyze the typesetting and spacing.
