TinEye is a “reverse image search engine” that matches your uploaded photo with similar images around the web. (If “TinEye” is a variation on “tin ear”, isn’t that a bad thing?)

    Thats a cool service. Now if they could only add this to dating sites hehe.

    Wow, maybe I’m just not grokking the concept here, but I tried (1) a photograph of my own that I posted of a celebrity singing onstage recently, (2) a standard-issue picture of my cat, and (3) a paparazzi shot of a widely-known celebrity that was posted on a LOT of gossip sites. They all came up with zero results.

    Not impressed.
