‘Screenshots in Syndication’ Launched

Over in the Sandbox section I’ve added a download page for what’s been dorkily titled Screenshots in Syndication. SiS is a tool that generates screenshot images from RSS feeds — this is especially useful for designers accustomed to bookmarking their favorite sites with services like del.icio.us. Since del.icio.us provides feeds for each discrete tag, designers can easily create their own categorized galleries by subscribing to keywords like “grungy” or “clean” or “blog”.

That’s only one possible application — I’d be interested to see what else people come up with. Leave a comment and let me know if, how and where you’ve set it up, or what other features you’d like to see.
